Aside from being Australia’s largest building, renovating, landscaping and design centre – with more than 350 displays across three levels – Home Base offers a selection of educational short courses, specifically catered to home builders, renovators and owners.

All seven of Home Base’s courses run all-year-round and cover a range of topics from owner and project home building, to interior design and building renovation. Presented by local industry experts, each course is created to be both educational and inspirational, with a strong focus on real-life application. Presenters include an award-winning Perth builder, architects and building designers, interior designers, sustainability experts, a building industry judge, an award-winning kitchen designer and a landscape designer, so you can trust that you’re getting advice from the best in the business.

The popular interior design course can now also be completed online from the comfort of your own home, at your own pace. This course offers complete advice on all your design needs, from building design and planning, to flooring, lighting, kitchen and bathroom design and more. Both the online and classroom courses offer interactive activities, and material and product demonstrations to give you all the information you need to create a stunning interior.

Home Base also offers complimentary building or styling consultations, which give you independent advice from in-house experts on how to plan, design and style your next project. Available in person or via phone or video conference, these consultations will take you through either block selection, building orientation and landscaping or all your interior design needs.

Home Base is open seven days a week, and consultations are available every Friday and Saturday.
