Home Base Project 1
Home Base is Australia’s largest building, renovating, landscaping and design centre, and features three levels of product displays and showrooms. The centre has more than 250 individual displays to discover. Home Base is the perfect place for first home builders to tackle the pre-start selection process, providing ample inspiration and products for the design of a new build or renovation and all you need to create a unique, dream home.
Home Base specialises in new home building, owner-builder and renovating projects and is conveniently located in Subiaco. The centre is home to a number of local and national brands that are synonymous with home design, building, and renovating. A visit to Home Base helps to garner ideas and is the perfect place to visit for expert advice or to see the latest building and renovating products and innovations. It is also an excellent place to make the all-important product, material and colour selections necessary for your design.
Complimentary ‘Meet the Designer’ consultations are designed to offer independent advice from local industry experts. A ‘Design and Building’ consultation focuses on the design and building processes, block selection, building orientation, interiors, contractual issues, or landscaping. Alternatively, a ‘Design and Style’ consultation helps with plan and layout reviews, product and material selections, colour selections, storage options, furniture decisions and layout, interior and exterior paint selections, or interior design ideas.
Consultations are run at Home Base every Friday and Saturday. The company also offers an annual program of building and design courses. The popular design course series covers kitchen design, garden and landscaping design, sustainable design and interior decorating. All programs have been created to inspire, are presented by local and independent industry experts, and include plenty of advice for real-life application.
At Home Base, visitors have the opportunity to see and touch products, materials, colours and textures in real-life, with in-centre experts available to assist. Kitchens and bathrooms are on display, including options for traditional and modern designs. There are more than 15 flooring showrooms, covering everything from real and engineered timber, decorative concrete for indoor and outdoor use, and luxury vinyl floor products.
