A HOME OF FLAWLESS FUSION
Stannard Homes gleaned inspiration from a variety of styles, including the classic Australian beach house, the Queenslander, and subtle notes of Victorian-era style, these complementary designs come together to create a breathtaking home of true elegance.
The front façade boasts refreshing whites, particularly through the gorgeous timber cladding, which hints at the more coastal influences. Perfect symmetry is at a play here with gabled roofs, a wide verandah and a restored vintage front door that oozes character. The black timber-cladded box above the garage hints at a contemporary influence, working in contrast against the rest of the home’s design.
Upon entering, instant calm and space is achieved through the classic parquetry timber-like tile flooring and the void spaces above, created by the grand second storey. An impressive master suite awaits just off the front entryway, featuring a walk-in robe with built-in storage, and a luxurious bathroom replete with a freestanding bathtub and double vanities.
At the rear of the house is the open-plan living area that sits on smooth, polished concrete flooring. A statement fireplace in the living room section ties in the traditional aesthetic, while the stunning marble island bench, matte-black cabinetry and feature pendant lights bring the home into the modern age. Around the corner, a conveniently placed scullery provides additional space for food preparation and cleaning up, allowing the main kitchen to remain neat and tidy no matter the occasion.
Bi-fold doors open up the living area, seamlessly connecting it to the airy alfresco. Here, the residents can utilise the state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen and cosy up by the built-in fireplace.
Ingeniously, Stannard Homes included wine storage beneath the central staircase, which is framed with white timber balustrades – another nod to the coastal look. These stairs lead to the second storey, which houses four additional bedrooms each with a walk-in robe. The front two even have access to a delightful balcony.
