This beautiful, open-plan two-storey home located in Marmion is a tasteful and contemporary build, keen on harnessing natural light right throughout the home. Another glorious product of Troy Leaman Building, the home’s façade boasts beautifully crafted timber steps that lead up to the front door. Adjacent to this is the matching wooden decking holding a set of outdoor furniture. This area under the wide veranda is a simple yet stunning space to entertain on. This well-crafted wooden structure echoes throughout the rest of the exterior and interior of Branden Way, its timber tones adding warmth and a solid sense of structure.

Troy Leaman Building worked effortlessly on this project, integrating raw materials like timber and stone and blending these seamlessly with the open-plan contemporary aspect of the home, ultimately creating a stylish and modern space. The prominent grey wall to the left of the entryway blends beautifully with the raw wooden features that run throughout its exterior.

The kitchen and living areas have a particular rustic charm to them, with the same grey and brown tones running through its interior as seen throughout the exterior. The wooden flooring also contrasts beautifully with the white kitchen and smooth
sage green tiling over the countertop.

Numerous wide windows and a sliding door open onto the patio, optimising the natural light coming through the home and widening the room. By creating this indoor-outdoor space in the home’s main living area, the homeowners have more than enough room to entertain guests.

The bright and open-living space is accompanied by white spotlights on a slanted roof, ensuring there is more than enough light in the evenings. This style of house is reminiscent of the vibrant retro era seen throughout the 1960s, with a lot of earthy tones present and structural quirks such as the slanted roof – a beautiful family-friendly space.
