This beautiful seaside garden oozes both coastal charm and sophisticated elegance, and, as the winner of the Contractor Residential award at the most recent Landscape Industries Association of Western Australia (LIAWA) awards, is an outstanding example of the outcomes Tim Davies Landscaping (TDL) consistently achieves. A careful balance of plants, modern structural planning and lively textures has made this entry courtyard a real standout without detracting from the masterful design of the modern apartment complex. TDL has created a communal space that perfectly complements the building’s architectural style, while also suiting the coastal and low light conditions of the sloping block. Two recycled steel dishes have been used as planters, while steel edging has been incorporated into the landscape design to retain the mondo grass feature. Mature frangipanis were also transplanted into the garden to increase its aesthetic.
