Stallion Homes Project 6

Nestled amongst the Western Australian bush, this rural, industrial-style abode by Stallion Homes is perfectly customised to suit the client’s needs and support their lifestyle for years to come.

Built on a cliff, this property is surrounded by rugged views of the encompassing bushland. This project was also built within a fire zone, so the materials used were designed to withstand nature’s harsh elements, such as the fibre cement exterior cladding and the Bushfire Attack Level rated windows. Other materials used were concrete, structural steel and COLORBOND cladding, all intended to be robust and withstand increasingly common bushfires.

The interior is sleek and sophisticated, which perfectly accommodates the client’s modern taste. The kitchen includes white marble countertops and grey cabinetry, which ties in with the dark timber floorboards. The area keeps a touch of ruralism through the addition of a barn door that blends seamlessly with the wall colouring. Flowing on from the kitchen, the dining area features an eye-catching, rustic brick wall, which uses bricks that were salvaged from a 100-year-old building that Stallion Homes had demolished previously. The gold light fitting hanging over the table is complemented by the brick and adds a modern flair to the space.
