Constructed by Gia’s Renovations, this intelligently designed space strikes a perfect balance between installing unique features and prioritising functionality. The project sets itself apart with the use of the demi-round profile, enhancing the space’s impact while maintaining subtlety. This gentle curvature adds softness and visual interest, creating a distinctive look that remains timeless, feels intentional and avoids overwhelming the space.

The brief given related the need for an open layout that felt warm and inviting with features that were reminiscent of the outside environment. The use of colour helped achieve this, with grounded, earthy tones in organic textures, and mint tiles evoking a calming connection to nature.

The modernisation of the space was also paramount, and this was accomplished through the removal of built-in storage and internal walls, opening the area significantly for flow and functionality. The purpose-built cabinetry included a custom appliance unit with bi-fold doors and corner storage solutions, offering the illusion of a seamless wall of hidden storage. A new bi-fold window was installed to bring the outdoors in, enhancing natural light and connecting the space to the exterior, making it perfect for entertaining.
