For this stunning two-storey residence, Villa Serene, Averna Homes created a luxurious and modern hotel-feel through the extensive use of warm and natural materials such as stone and timber. These were then complemented by a neutral colour palette to ensure each space feels open and inviting.

With a mixture of materials used on the façade of the property, Averna Homes has created an innovative design with street appeal that offers a point of difference from other homes. The front and garage door in a cedar timber and the Toodyay stone complement the clean white rendering, with large light-filled windows completing the design.

Upon entering the home, the elegant foyer with an oversized cedar pivot door, full height windows and a feature wall of Toodyay stone provides a feeling of expansive luxury. The curved wall of the entry passage conceals the presence of the home theatre, while also inviting you to explore the more casual living areas that extend out to the fully-fitted alfresco and Eco deck.

The hotel-feel is echoed throughout Villa Serene with subtle architectural details and skilful reiteration of key natural elements.

In the spacious kitchen, sleek white cabinetry and modern appliances offer a space that pairs function with style. The splashback and island benchtop both feature a gorgeous marble finish with an intricate pattern that draws the eye towards the space. The muted colour of the marble contrasts with the other white finishes within the space, complementing timber bar stools that provide a breakfast bar for quick meals.

The expansive, casual living area off the kitchen flows through to an alfresco and Eco deck. Offering both a covered space to entertain, as well as a lush lawn for children to play on, this space is ideal for use all year-round.

As you move upstairs, the main bedroom includes its own private balcony, open ensuite and walk-in dressing area to again create a luxurious hotel-feel for the homeowners to enjoy.

Large tiles and a stunning stretch of marble for the ensuite vanity create a sense of indulgence and encourage homeowners to relax and find retreat in this main bathroom. The opulent bathtub and his and hers sinks combine luxury and function, with ample storage space underneath the sinks so the space remains clutter-free.
