Home to Perth’s barbecue and heating supplies, Dotmall is proud to announce that its Hot Things BBQ School has become so popular that the team has created a new website for it – where barbecue novices and experts alike can explore class dates and times and make a booking for one of Perth’s barbecue scene’s must-try experiences.

Whether you want to brush up on the essentials, learn more about the ‘low and slow’ method of barbecuing, or pursue the smoky wonders of wood pellet grills, Hot Things BBQ School can help students of all skill levels master their barbecue. Classes are run by Texan Barbecue Pitmaster Brian Gray, who has been cooking American-style barbecue professionally from a very young age. At Hot Things BBQ School, the expert shares his passion and skills, putting students in the best hands to become barbecue experts themselves.

Each class runs from 11:30am–4:00pm, leaving ample time to cover a range of barbecuing techniques for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Dotmall and its Hot Things BBQ School aim to keep things relevant and interesting. A typical class might include a breakfast of bacon, egg, potatoes and cheese tacos; a brunch of smoked tomatoes, grilled mushrooms and zucchini; a lunch of chicken or steak tacos; and a dinner of smoked brisket, seared tri-tip steak and smoked salmon. One thing is for certain – no one will leave with an empty belly!

You’ll get the chance to learn basic maintenance, too, so that you can keep your barbecue in top shape all year long, ready for a night of entertaining at a moment’s notice. Complimentary drinks are also provided for an afternoon of delicious food and fun, easy-going learning.
