The kitchen boasts a large island bench and ample storage as well as a functional scullery, and state-of-the-art appliances, which blend seamlessly with the home’s contemporary aesthetic. A combination of modern and textural finishes features prominently throughout the design. A feature brick blade wall is a major focal point, wrapping around the home’s front exterior and continuing through to the ground floor and upper landing of the home’s interior, delivering an edgy, urban-inspired look.

The custom-made wine cellar is another central feature of the design and is visible from the front door as well as the lounge and dining space. The wine rack was designed by Mondo Exclusive Homes and another has since featured in another home the company has built. Using a mix of the latest technology and materials, this home has achieved an 8.1-star rating. Cavity wall insulation was used throughout the home, while solar panels, roof ventilation and skylights help cut down on heating, cooling and the need for constant lighting. Polished concrete floors keep the home warm during winter and cooler throughout the summer months. A 2.4kW solar system, combined with LED lighting, also keeps the energy costs of this home extremely low.
