Mondo Exclusive Homes has built two houses on this property, which are both a fusion of contemporary design and elegant interior decorating. Sleek, stylish and sophisticated, the homes encompass all the necessities for modern day living.

The exterior’s grey colour palette hints at the contemporary finishes inside. A modern twist on a classic Hamptons-style design is evident from the onset. Plenty of traditional Hamptons-inspired features are noticeable, such as the home’s sophisticated design and luxurious feel, but ultimately it exhibits ultra-modern furnishings, while also radiating warmth and cosiness.

A two-storey void area is included above the entry to open up the first floor level and give the home a feeling of grandeur and spaciousness. Its feature floor of polished concrete on the ground floor is not only immediately striking but easy to clean, which makes it practical too.

The soft colour theme is continued indoors, with lashings of cream, brown and grey tones used throughout. This understated palette gives the home depth and helps to soften the contemporary design. In contrast to the concrete floor, carpeting is used on the upper level to add a touch of comfort where the bedrooms are located.

The spacious kitchen, which faces the dining area, features a large off-white island bench, and state-of-the-art modern appliances that make cooking and preparing meals a breeze. A huge pantry provides plenty of room for storing food away and can be accessed through a sliding door in the wall.

The living room is easily reached from the kitchen/dining area and is ideal for entertaining but is slightly tucked away for added privacy when necessary. Glass sliding doors open from the lounge room to reveal an undercover courtyard, perfect for year-round enjoyment.

Although it was somewhat challenging to build two homes on a relatively small block, Mondo Exclusive Homes managed to utilise every inch of space, while keeping the homes stylish and functional. To comply with the clients’ brief, which requested high-quality investment properties, the company designed and constructed two low-maintenance and adaptable homes to suit a large market of prospective buyers and tenants.

The main bedroom and ensuite on the ground floor is appealing to young professionals right through to downsizers. Communication with the neighbours was extremely important during the construction process, as was the careful planning and execution of a well-thought out process. From demolition to handover, the entire project took only 12 months and Mondo Exclusive Homes was able to deliver yet another project on time and on budget.
