Mondo Exclusive Homes has released an innovative new app that helps clients keep track of their project as it’s being built, while facilitating direct communication with the builder. The American-designed CoConstruct app provides a communal access point for builders, contractors and suppliers, through which they can share photographs and updates on the construction process. Clients can then
log onto the app to monitor the progress of their new home.
The launch of CoConstruct is a pioneering step for Mondo Exclusive Homes. With the construction industry heading towards a more online approach in order to simplify communication between builders and clients, company director Ray Kershaw believes this kind of technology will become commonplace.
“ still new, but there are more builders exploring it and I think it’s going to be very beneficial to the relationship between the client, contractor and builder,” says Kershaw. “It takes a lot of manpower to upload all the information, but as long as clients are willing to use it, we’ll make it available for
them to use.”
In addition to providing a track record of correspondence and a building schedule that’s updated weeks in advance, the app allows clients to see their contracts, building selections and possible upgrades.
“We’re committed to pushing every bit of information onto this app so that it’s live and accessible for the client wherever they are,” explains Kershaw. “We’ve always been very transparent with our clients with what we’re doing, and I think this app that we’re an open, honest company that’s willing to improve the building experience for everyone involved.” CoConstruct is currently available to download from Google Play or iTunes.
