Xon Construction Project 1

Using the bones of an existing home, Xon Construction has accomplished this stunning, resort-like renovation in collaboration with David Robinson from Son & Son Architects and the client, Karen Travers. Every aspect of the project involved extreme attention to detail, which was flawlessly executed by the on-site team to completely transform the existing home. The team at Xon Construction worked closely with the client to ensure only materials of the highest quality were used to achieve the client’s vision.

The well-designed rooms and layouts made the most of the existing home blueprint, and careful thought was put into the hardscapes and choosing the ideal plants and materials for the resort-style theme. Cobblestones, stone pavers and honed concrete were all used at the front entrance and, in combination with the tropical plants, create a natural, welcoming ambience.

This extends inside the home with custom wood-stained jarrah floors and full-height windows and doors. The black aluminium framing the windows and doors gives a sophisticated steel-look to the project and can be seen throughout the home, adding a sense of continuity. The front door and study doors both contain fluted glass, which is practical for privacy and also offers texture and visual interest.
