Kre8 Constructions WA Project 4
This three-storey extension project completed by Kre8 Constructions sits amongst a leafy street in Cottesloe overlooking Perth’s most exquisite beaches. An all-white rendered exterior is visible from the street, as well as a striking white balustrade. The unique dome roof, cleverly designed by architect Nigel Denny, bursts with character, and large windows are visible from all angles to create an open, spacious feel.
A seamless blend of white satin cabinetry has been used throughout the extension, as well as brass perforated mesh, exposed oregon timber beams and herringbone laid floorboards. The living, kitchen and dining area is a practically designed space with all appliances hidden out of sight and a large island bench space that is perfect for group cooking preparation and entertaining.
It was essential for the clients to utilise their outdoor space as frequently as the indoor space. This was realised by adding a third level to the home. Living room space was maximised with large windows and the levels were extended with the construction of large balconies. Each level now features a beachfront view, as well as its own balcony.
Kre8 Constructions is a close-knit, dedicated team of professionals passionate about building innovative homes and committed to delivering an unparalleled design and construction service. Kre8 Constructions was a finalist in the 2018 Housing Industry Association (HIA) COLORBOND steel Matt Perth Housing Awards for their Renovation/Addition Project. The Subiaco office is conveniently located inside Home Base, with a surrounding springboard of ideas for inspiration to help get any project started.
