This spacious home with contemporary street appeal was designed by Bob Bruce Design and built by Big Ben Homes South-West with relaxed living in mind.

To transform the existing property, which was almost in a state t for demolition, into a contemporary family home Bob Bruce Design developed new roof lines, as well as new living and work spaces. As the home is located close to the beachfront, Bob Bruce Design channelled the beach house aesthetic with the use of plenty of natural light, high ceilings and new clerestory windows in the dining and kitchen area.

As well as three generously-sized bedrooms, the home also includes a main bedroom wing, as well as an open- plan kitchen and dining area that connects with the outdoor living space so the homeowners can make the most of entertaining.

The owner of the property wanted it to be given a complete facelift while still keeping in mind the re-sale viability to varied prospective buyers – from a young family wanting to live near the beach to a retired couple looking for a place to relax. Bob Bruce Design has successfully achieved this transformation to create a low-maintenance yet luxurious beach house-style home.
